Aim and purpose
This unit should develop learners' understanding of concepts related to equality, diversity and rights in health and cultural care. Scholars will be able to gain knowledge of discriminatory practice and means of combatting this. They will develop knowledge of national endeavours that enhance anti-discriminatory practice in into the social treatment settings.
At the heart of successful health and social care practice lies an understanding of the enormous diversity amidst individuals in contemporary British society, and how good health and social proper care practice acknowledges and benefits this variety.
